  • Код взлома, который вы указали в своем вопросе, был остановлен, работая с Android версии 4.4. У вас будет сгенерировано это исключение, начиная с версии Kitkat java.lang.SecurityException: Permission Denial: not allowed to send broadcast android.location.GPS_ENABLED_CHANGE

  • Код первого ответа больше не работает, он отображает только анимированный значок GPS в панели уведомлений.

  • В целях безопасности Разработчик Google блокирует оба метода, которые ранее работали нормально.

  • Отсюда вывод, что вы не можете программно запускать GPS On или Off.
